A good time was had by all. I won't namedrop for fear of forgetting someone, but I finally got to meet Eric from Straight White Guy, so that was a treat.

We may not have blog meets at Bailey's anymore, which is too bad because they have the best bar food in Knoxville. Due to the new Tennessee smoking ban in restaurants Bailey's became a 21 and over club, so kids aren't allowed now.

Dang it...I meant to come, but clean forgot it!

Since I can indulge in my cigars there, I may start going back to Bailey's. My gang had stopped because service and the food had suffered. They stopped my favorite onion rings, then the Ruben was cut out, and then a few times the food was not as tasty.

Also, we found that the beer, even with the "Mug Club" cards was cheaper elsewhere.

Lately it's been Wild Wings, Irish Times, and now Smoky Mountain Brewery. It would be hard to go back just for a puff on a cigar I suppose.

Sorry we missed you. We'll try to get the word out a little better next time. We probably ought to have a mailing list.

They cut out the BBQ that I liked, but now I've found some new dishes are good. The spicy mahi mahi is yummy, and the black forest sandwich on a pretzel roll is deelish. Their fries are better than I remember. They're square, which I think means they cut them on site.
