"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."
 -- Gandhi

That's an old quote I've already seen a couple of times this campaign season. It's a helpful thing to tell your supporters, but it's hardly a truism. Sure, Gandhi's quote describes a progression that often accompanies successful ideas, but many other ideas pass through the first three steps and fall short of the fourth.

In other words, being laughed at is hardly proof that you're fated to win. If it were, pR0n Paul would have this election sewn up.

Not that you care, probably, but I find your attempt at hilariously mispelling Dr. Paul's name to be simply childish.

Why not argue against his views instead, if you have a problem with him? Nothing I've read in your blog argues with his current stance on anything relevant, but only saying he's crazy because other's smirk at him in the debates. What does that have to do anything?

C'mon, Les, I expect better of you!

I misspell his name so that the pR0n Paul army that searches for his name on Technorati doesn't descend on my blog.
