Guns > The U.S Should Have a More *European* Attitude Towards Handguns

Like, you know, letting an 11 year old girl climb a tree with a pistol to start an ice cream-eating contest. Very European.

The things I learn watching movies with my kids.

When I was a kid, my mother took a part-time gig running part of a day-camp program that included bringing kids to a movie theater at 8 and 11 in the morning for some ridiculous price like 25 cents. About four movies were shown that summer, and one of them was a Pippi Longstockings film. My sister and I had to sit in that theater and watch that stupid freaking film twice a day, four days a week, for four weeks.

You think watching a movie with your kids in the living room is bad? Cry me a river. :)
