litotes • \LYE-tuh-teez\ • noun

: understatement in which an affirmative is expressed by the negative of the contrary

Example Sentence:
Jamie blushingly acknowledged her victory by litotes, saying that her scores were "not bad" and that she was "not displeased" with her performance.
